Yesterday, my sister and I went for The Vamps Wake Up Concert!
We bought the VIP tickets hence we were entitled for soundcheck and of course priority standing. HEHE. I did not took any video during the soundcheck.
The Tide was the opening act for the tour. They were good so I subscribed to their channel, looking forward to good music from them.
Here's some pictures and fancams~
Mygod when Brad sang 'Million Words'. His voice was amazing. I almost cried listening to his live. I can tell that the boys really enjoyed themselves here. Also they promised to be back. Yes, I'll be waiting boys. HAHA.
I finished sewing my A-line skirt with the remaining fabric but I did not take any photos because I lent my digital camera to my sister. If you are curious on how I sew the skirt, I referred to Q2HAN's channel!
They are really talented and I love watching their DIYs. I hope this video will be helpful for those who want to sew A-Line Skirt!
So how did mine go?
If I can do it, you can too!

It's finally my first post for the year, Hip hip Hooray!
I just finished my first DIY for the year.
I made very own sweater! HEHE.
Materials:
2m fabric
Thread
Sewing machine
I find sewing really simple and easy to do when you know how to create your own pattern. For myself, I use a similar clothing to trace out the pattern. In this DIY, I am using an oversized crop top which I am very much in love with. :)
With a sample clothing as a guideline for pattern-making, you can easily alter the length and width of the clothing you are making. Since I am using a crop top to make a sweater, I ensure that the pattern I trace out is longer than the sample clothing.
First and foremost, to trace out pattern you need to fold the clothes into half.
A simple sweater requires three important parts- FRONT, BACK & SLEEVE
FRONT
BACK
SLEEVE
Do not forget to add in the fold direction. This is absolutely important or else you might forget to fold your fabric before cutting them!
FRONT
BACK
SLEEVE
Yay! So we are done cutting the fabric. Now it's time to assemble these three together and you'll get yourself a sweater.
When ever it comes to sewing a top, the shoulder will be the first to sew.
right-right side which means the wrong side of the fabric will be on the outside.
pin the FRONT and BACK together
You can start sewing the shoulder.
Next, pin the sleeve to the armhole.
Always remember to pin your fabric together this is to keep them on the right track when you sew them.
Once the sleeve is sewn on, pin the sides of the bodice and bottom of the sleeve.
Then head to the sewing machine and press the foot pedal!
After assembling the three parts together, I decided to add bias tape to the neckline and cuff on the wrist area.
Oops, I forgot to take pictures of the bias tape! What I did to make the bias tape was I measured the neckline of the sweater.
My measurement for the bias tape was 23" by 1.5"
I cut out the fabric with an additional 0.5".
Pin the right-right side together and sew them. Afterwards, fold the ends of the bias tape and sew.
Next, I did the cuff.
The measurement was 10" by 3".
After cutting the fabric, fold the fabric into half (right-right side) and sew the ends.
Before attaching the cuff to the wrist area, turn the cuff inside-out.
Once the right side is out, pin the cuff to the wrist area and sew.
Lastly, I did a rolled hem at the bottom for a clean finish!
So how did my sweater look?
Rolled hem~

Sweater~
WEE~ Isn't it easy? HEHE! So how much fabric did I use? I only used about 1m out of the 2m ( I am a petite size lady. HAHAHA! )
I still have plenty of fabric left, A-line skirt will be the next DIY of 2016!
That's all for this post. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog. Also, I created a youtube account with my dearest friend. We called ourselves, 2misfitchers. Please check out our channel~
It's been over a year since I've last posted anything. This proves how much of an "active" blogger I am. I told myself over and over again I should blog since blogging is/was my social platform. Guess who's turning to be an unsociable idiot? (NOT ME OF COURSE!)
New year is coming in exactly 21 days. There will be some changes within my blog for new year. I know you're probably be like: yeah, right. As if she's going to blog so often. She lies all the time. I really am, really am excited for the change! The new upcoming blog will have more elements which focus on -
Sewing journal
Photography journal
Drama recap
Book recommendation + reflection
Domo + Toothless adventure
Please be excited for me!
Do come back in 21 days, I promise you'll be entering a magical site!
Resolution wish for 2016 is becoming an active blogger.
This term hits me so badly right now. Everyone is selfish. No matter how kind or nice someone can be, there will always be a time when he or she behaves selfishly.
I personally think it is alright to be selfish when you're not causing harm (physically or mentally) to others. However, when an individual's selfish act causes harm to others, I find it unacceptable.
Don't expect me to be smiling and understanding if you're behaving selfishly most of the time. I am not a nice person. I repeat I am not a nice person.
Since the month of August is coming to an end. I've decided to update my blog. HAHAHAHAHAHA!
I kept telling myself I should update more often but I am just too lazy. Kekeke. Sorry ~
There's so many things I wish to buy but I'm controlling my wants and focusing on my needs. I shall make a list of things to buy when I'm back from seoul! Hehe.
I can't wait to fly to South Korea. The weather here is ridiculous. Ohhh~ Global Warming~
Now, I've no idea what clothes to bring for my seoul trip. Erm. In less than 2 months, I am flying off. Kekeke. Will I be able to see any idols when I'm there? LOL.
I am going to buy plenty of clothes and maybe two pairs of shoes when I'm in seoul. Since I'm not planning to buy any or a lot of cosmetics. Muahahahahaha!
Enjoy your Sunday lovelies.

I admit there are words I wish I did not say, words I wish I could say, words I wish were sincere, words I wish I did not know and words I wish I could hear.
There's so many things I want to achieve with my small build. I need to learn to breathe properly, take things slow and focus without feeling vulnerable.
Perfect is not the aim. Growing is the game. I will move forward. Leaving my trails behind without dirt.
I want to sincerely thank all my loved ones. I am always grateful to be given an opportunity to live. Everyday I wake up, I know that I am given chance to be a better person. Therefore, I wish to be a better person by the end of the day.
Happy advanced birthday to myself. Hehe. Turning 21 in less than 3hours.
Animation film has never fail to disappoint me. With httyd2 in the film market right now, I dare to say the rest of the movies are losing out. Rotten tomatoes known for being a critic site which give reliable ratings of a movie, httyd2 receives a 4.5/5.
This movie sequel which many anticipate, It turned out to be an amazing creation from DreamWorks. It's never easy for a sequel to be as good as the first and this movie has done it.
A storyline which barely has any loopholes, the smooth transitions in the characters and the beautiful animations, I give this movie a 9/10.
Who knows that a simple book can be made into an amazing movie. Dreamworks make wonders~
Be sure to catch it on cinemas! Do watch how to train your dragon before the sequel! After watching it, you'll understand why people are raving about it. I won't be surprise if people still talk about this movie although it is 2015. This movie truly deserves it. Applaud to the team who created this wonderful piece.
Since I can't get enough of how to train your dragon 2, I'm going to watch the first movie! 😁
Btw, I got my tickets to one direction concert! I have something to look forward to next year. Hehe. So many exciting things will be happening. I can't wait!!!
Things I've achieved:
- Ticket to one direction concert.
- Cheap flight to seoul via Singapore Airlines (SIA)
- Watch the best sequel of the year
Things to look forward:
- Super Junior Comeback
- Exo Lost Planet Concert Announcement to Singapore
One direction is really coming to Singapore next year!!! Yehet~ Tickets will start selling on the 11th June at 10am. Hehe. I hope to get one of the better tickets ( I am obviously not talking about the $388 ticket. That is way too expensive. I would never spend that much just to see my favourite singers/ idols).
I do hope to get the $168-$198 tickets. If I don't, I'll probably cry. NOOOOOOOO. Please wish me all the best. (Praying) I'm hoping that the Singaporean fans who have been with the boys since the beginning, get their tickets as well. (Need a genie so badly right now)
Exo has started their concert last night. And they just ended their 2nd concert. I'm so jealous of the fans who get to see them perform. I really wanna fly to seoul so badly. Speaking of seoul, I'm flying in October. Yehettttt~
Need to book the flight ticket soon. Muahahaha. I do hope I get to see baekhyun when I'm there. Hehehe.
🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂
In less than 2 months, it will be my 21st birthday. People say 21st has to be extra special. I don't know if it'll be extra special on my 21st since I won't be planning any birthday party or event. I'm lazy to even make one. Lol. No effort= no result. Therefore, my 21st won't be so special. It's fine with me because every birthday of mine has been specially celebrated thanks to my family and friends. Hehe. I'm thankful for that.
I've nothing to share. However, there's a need to blog. Well you see, if I don't, my blog will be dead. Hahaha. I shall make it a routine or maybe a habit to post at least one a week. I should, shouldn't I?
Maybe if I blog once a week, I'll get to see baekhyun when I visit seoul? Haha.
I still haven't find a dress for my 21st birthday. I know it's still early to be thinking about my birthday but if I don't, I'll never start finding and I might end up wearing rags on my birthday. I'M NOT KIDDING WHEN I SAY RAGS. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
I should head to Bugis soon. I don't have to worry about that since I've a date with my close friend to visit Bugis although I don't know when yet. I do hope to find a dress from there. Why oh why does JP have to close down the street of shops near the NTUC?! Pfftttttt.
If you're thinking what I've been doing the whole day, it's nothing great. I woke up only after half the day is over. (OKAY, I woke up at 6am to pray. Then, I continued reading - you do not need to know what I'm currently reading- and fall asleep again at around 7am.)
So I woke up roughly around 12noon, I continued reading where I stopped. When I felt that my stomach has excreted way too much acid. I decided to abandon reading and head to wash myself (bathing). Afterwards, I headed to the kitchen to eat my lunch. When my stomach was filled with some food, I continued reading. I was happy to read. After finished reading, I played injustice on my ipod until it went low battery.
Oh oh, INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US is an amazing game! You should start playing it. Haha.
So while leaving my ipod to charge, I used my phone to watch running man. Ohmygawddd, this episode of Running Man is hilarious. Okay, almost every episodes of Running Man have always made me laugh so hard. LOL. If Running Man were to end, my feels for family outing will be coming again. Blearghhhhh.
I just finished my dinner and I decided to blog. Haha. So I am here blogging using my ipod. Ahhhh, technology is really convenient. Lol. Then in a few hours, I'll be sleeping and when I wake up, I'll realize my off day has gone to waste. Okay, maybe not a total waste because I read. Haha.
Since it's been awhile ( I know but let's assume that it's been awhile), I am here to update my blog. Hehe! ☺️
My friends whom I haven't met for ages have been bugging me to update my blog. I kept on saying: I will. I will.
I know I was lying to them and myself when I said that. Lol.
I'm sure they will be surprised to see my blog post. Haha.
I don't know who reads my blog but I'm happy to know that people do stalk me (for I don't know whatever reason).
It's been awhile (Okay. I lied. Hahaha). I have no idea what to write and my writing style will be so awkward. I'm sure it's awkward. AWKWARD. Yea, it is awkward. To make it less awkward, I'll post more often after today. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
So here's a short update on my life -
