Cushion with cover! DIY!

Are you feeling the Christmas vibes?! Although I do not celebrate Christmas, I get happy when christmas is coming. Wee~

Getting a christmas gift for your loved ones just gets harder and harder each year. Fret not, for DIY lovers, I am going to teach you how to make a super comfy cushion plus awesome cushion cover for your loved ones which you can wrap it for your loved ones this season!

Let's get started~

Cushion

Materials:

1. 0.5-1m of fabric

2. Stuffing

3. Sewing machine

4. Matching thread with fabric

Cutting the fabric:

Cut out a square/ rectangular shape (25" by 25"). You can adjust the measurement according to your preference. Do ensure that you have a fold at one of the side.

Sewing:

Sew along the opening and leave about 2-3".

Turn the fabric inside out.

Put in some stuffing into the fabric. Stuff as much as you want till you're satisfied with the softness of cushion!

Lastly, hand sew to close the opening.

End product:

Cushion cover

Materials:

1. 0.5-1m of fabric

2. Zipper

3. Sewing machine

4. Matching thread with fabric

Cutting the fabric:

Cut out a square/ rectangular shape (25" by 25"). You can adjust the measurement according to your preference. Make sure that you have a fold at one of the side.

Sewing:

1. Sew along 2 side seams.

2. Place the zipper to the unsewn side.

3. Pin one side of the zipper to the fabric.

4. Sew the zipper.

5. Repeat step 3 and 4 for the other side of the zipper

6. Turn the fabric inside out and pin the opening near the zipper area.

  

7. Sew that area to close.

End product:

Cushion + Cover:
